On Wednesday 24^th February, the school hosted de Stafford’s Got Talent! This event was a huge success with entrants from all 4 houses.

Representing George House were Sam Brown who sang beautifully and Ella Miskin who also sang wonderfully.

Representing Andrew House were Charlotte Vicars who played piano with a member of David House, Allanna Coghlan and Morgan Joyce who sang as a duet and Ava Karantha who performed a dance piece.

Representing Patrick House were Molly Dunnett on the drums, Tabatha Wren who performed a martial arts piece and a year 7 dance group.

Representing David House were Stesy Pesce who performed a dance, Amie Whickman who sang (with Charlotte Vicars) and Evie Ford who sang.

Each of the acts performed and listened to comments from the judging panel, which consisted of Mr Garner (our Head teacher), Mrs Etheridge (Vice Chair of Governors and member of the Rotary Club), and a sem-professional singer called Jess who we were really lucky to have on the panel.

After careful deliberation, the judges came up with their top 3. In first place was Amie Whickman and Charlotte Vicars, in second place was Ella Miskin and in third place was Ava and Stesy.

A big thank you to the House Co-ordinators for their help with organising the event, to our judges and to Miss Reid for co-ordinating the lighting and sound and for Miss Palmer for her support.
