de Stafford School students helped to make Caterham a cleaner place when they spent their time and effort litter picking as part of the National Clean for the Queen Project.
Staff were very proud of the 31 students that made a fantastic effort picking up litter, they were so enthusiastic and determined to get stuck in and ensure that literally no leaf was left unturned. Their efforts mean that now the 100 steps and school exit past the memorial Garden is a pleasure to walk down and through. Kwik-fit’s generosity ensured they were all visible and safe in their bright jackets and Knight’s Garden Centre supported by providing the disposable gloves to wear. The students showed true community spirit in being prepared to give up their time in order to make the environment better for their community. |
