Dr. Maqbool Sethi of the AMA said: "We want to promote the true meaning of Islam both as a religion and culture to the general public through various awareness programmes. The AMA condemns all forms of terrorism and totally disagrees with the violent response of some Muslims to various recent events." Hundreds of 'Peace Buses' have been travelling across the UK with banners asserting the essence of Muslim belief - 'Love for All, Hatred for None'. The exhibition and informal get-together in Chaldon Village Hall is part of the nationwide awareness programme. From 10.30am-4.30pm there will be a display of books, leaflets and posters on Islam and the AMA, including topical issues such as women in Islam. Refreshments will be available.
