August is the second anniversary of the launch of the Shop Smart scheme to reward shoppers for their loyalty. There are now around 60 businesses participating in the scheme in Caterham, offering discounts and other benefits to over 2,000 members.

An exciting BIG PRIZE initiative is being launched this summer for members of the scheme, sponsored by a number of local 'Shop Smart' businesses.

Membership of Shop Smart for shoppers is free and joining is easy. Membership cards can be obtained from JJ Browne Jewellers, Touché Hairdressers, Peter Groom Jewellers and La Fiaba restaurant in Caterham Valley and from Vivace Pianos, Swift Windows and Caterham Pine in Caterham-onthe- Hill.

The 2011 Shop Smart leaflet listing all the businesses offering rewards to members has recently been delivered to households in Caterham. A copy can be downloaded at www.shopsmartcaterham. co.uk

Members of Shop Smart are sent an E-newsletter twice a year with updates on the latest shops and businesses participating in the scheme.
