Warlingham School's students achieved outstanding GCSE results with 92% of its students gaining five or more GCSEs at grade C or above and 67% of its students gaining five or more GCSEs including English and Mathematics. It is the best ever set of GCSE results the school has achieved and it is the fourth successive year that results have continued to rise. Miss Woodhouse, Headteacher, said: "The students' examination results are fantastic and they deserve success. I would personally like to congratulate all of our students, as well as thanking parents and the school's staff for their relentless support of students to help gain these outstanding results." There were some outstanding individual successes with Georgina Brown achieving 9 A*, 2 A grades, Katie Fernandez achieving 8 A*, 2 A grades and Parhum Purser achieving 4 A*, 7 A grades. After receiving such excellent results, students will be ready to join Warlingham School's 'Outstanding' (OFSTED 2008) Sixth Form. |
