Surrey Police Authority is to host a Public Meeting at 10am on 13th October in the meeting room at the Surrey Police Authority office at Mount Browne, Guildford. This meeting has been convened for the Police Authority to discuss and decide on proposals from the Force to undertake a procurement exercise to explore whether, by partnering with a private sector organisation, Surrey Police could improve service delivery and make savings in non-frontline activities. At the meeting, Members will also receive an update on plans for a national police air support service. The agenda and papers for the meeting will be made available at the Surrey Police Authority website www.surreypa.gov.uk in the next few days. Local people are welcome to attend the meeting. Please note that spaces are limited. If you would like to attend, please contact the Surrey Police Authority office on 01483 630 200 in advance of the meeting to make arrangements. Parking at Mount Browne on the day may be limited due to the short notice at which this meeting has been convened. The Park and Ride facility at Artington is only a short walk from HQ and could be a more convenient option for those wishing to attend. Again, please contact 01483 630 200 if you need directions. |
