Staff and customers at The Whyteleafe Tavern raised over ￡600 for Comic Relief last Friday, 15th March. The proceeds were from the sale of barmaid Georgina Bilgic Barnard's delicious home-made cupcakes and a raffle and over half the cash came from sponsorship of barman Peter having his legs and part of his chest waxed. Landlord Tom Dempsey also raised sponsorship for having his hair dyed green in time for the St. Patrick's Day celebrations at the weekend!

The pub will be holding another day of fun activities when it holds its St. George's Day celebrations on Sunday, 21st April.
