On Thursday 20th June, Caterham School will host four stars of the cricket world for the "In The Box" chat show. Noted cricket journalist Ralph Dellor will guide three guests through a series of anecdotes from their time in the world of international cricket as well as a question and answer session with the audience. The guests for this show will be former England Captain, Mike Gatting, former New Zealand Captain, Jeremy Coney and current Chairman of National Selectors, Geoff Miller. Mike Gatting had a long, incident packed career with England, Jeremy Coney can currently be heard in the commentary box for the series with New Zealand and Geoff Miller is renowned as one of the finest speakers on the sporting circuit. Ralph Dellor said "I will be encouraging the panellists to reveal some great stories and, of course, I expect that there will be quite a lot of humour. I think that the audience will enjoy hearing these cricket legends answer their questions." Headmaster of Caterham School, Julian Thomas said "The School is delighted to welcome these stars of cricket and to hear their 'behind the scenes' take on the game. With the series against New Zealand just completed and an Ashes series to come this summer, it promises to be a great night. We are also delighted to open this event up for our local community to come and enjoy the evening with us" Tickets to the event cost £15.
