Plans are well under way for this year's Chaldon Fête being held from 2pm on Bank Holiday Monday 26th August at St. Peter and St. Paul School. There will be plenty of parking places on the day in Six Brothers Field which is approached via Willey Broom Lane.

As well as the many stalls, exhibitions, dog show and music this year's Fête will include The Great Chaldon Bake Off. Cake entries will be accepted up to 3pm on the day of the fête with judging taking place at 4pm. There wil be classes for 7 and under, 12 and under and 13 to 99!

Last year the Chaldon Fête distributed ￡5,250 to many local organisations including the Chaldon Amateur Dramatic Society (CADS), Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Chaldon Church, Friends of the Caterham Dene Hospital, Chaldon Village Hall, Chaldon Women's Institute, St. Peter and St. Paul School and the Douglas Brunton Centre in Caterham.
