A packed preview evening launched this year's Annual Exhibition of the Tandridge Art Society last night. Visitors were treated to a colourful display of nearly two hundred works of art beautifully presented on the wood-pannelled walls of the Soper Hall in Harestone Valley Road, Caterham Valley. A variety craftwork items including jewellery, pottery and needlecraft are also being displayed and sold at the exhibition.
Featured in the main hall is a panel of portraits by Barbara Hooper, the winner of the David Curzon Price Award 2009. Visitors to the exhibition are invited to vote for next year's winner of the award. The Exhibition is open today and tomorrow (16th/17th April) from 10am until 8pm and on Sunday 18th April from 10am until 5pm. Admission is free.
