30 talented young people thrilled their audience of well over 100 at the Vivace Pianos concert at Woldingham Village Hall on Friday 14th May. The standard ranged from beginner, through the various grades, to a rousing Rachmaninov Prelude from one of the teachers. The style of music was varied from classical to a foot-tapping Rag to Film/TV and even an own composition.
The evening proved how practice does make perfect when combined with support and encouragement at home and the individual performance fitted together beautifully making a most entertaining and uplifting evening.
If you enjoy piano music and would like to know more about learning or details of our next concert, please contact Vivace Pianos, 29/31 High St. Caterham CR3 5UE. www.vivacepianos.co.uk
With the help of generous donations from the audience, Vivace were pleased to donate £100 to the Robert Bouffler Trust supporting music lessons and instruments for children who may not otherwise have access to them.
