Eight fire engines and numerous police cars attended a fire that broke out in the workshop at Ken's Autos in Hamsey Green on the morning of Wednesday, 11th June. Traffic had to be diverted away from the scene as firefighters tackled the blaze that started with a gas explosion. The Air Ambulance landed close to the scene of the fire to airlift a casualty to hospital.
