| Sam Gyimah MP endorses Tandridge District Council's approach to Local Plan |

Sam Gyimah MP has welcomed the Local Plan Strategy announced at last week’s Planning Policy Committee. The plan sets out the council’s strategy for the district up to 2033 and supports the proposal for a garden village.
The strategy includes the proposals to build 4000 houses around garden village principles including the building of starter homes. Importantly the strategy places infrastructure delivery at the heart of future planning policy. Sam said: “It is encouraging to see strong cross-party support for Tandridge District Council's approach to the Local Plan: a garden village and a clear plan to deliver infrastructure." "I strongly support this approach and look forward to working with Martin Fisher and his team, and engaging with the local community to deliver the right housing and much-needed infrastructure for our area.” |
