The triumphant Under 10s After a long and often wet year, the Old Cats Under 10’s and Under 11’s Rugby teams finished the season with their first tour. The under 10’s team played in a national competition in Minehead whilst the under 11’s went to Bognor Regis and played in a Sussex tournament with some of the strongest teams in the county. The team members designed their own tour shirts, supported by donations from Caterham Round Table, Village Developments Strategic Land and various fundraising events organised by the parents and teams. Under 10’s Coach Dave Cox said: “The team came against strong opposition across the country and played their best Rugby of the season to win the Shield Cup”. Under 11’s coach Nick Mogridge said: “There were some of the best standards of mini Rugby and the tour really brought our team together”. Both teams did their club and Caterham proud! Old Cats are based in Park Avenue, Caterham. We start from under 6’s, through to our Veterans squad for both boys and girls. The club is based around building friendships and having fun. The season starts again in September and we look forward to welcoming new members. The Under 11’s after their tournament in Sussex.
